We encounter a number of different situations in this thing called life. Meet new people every place we go, adapt to new environments and learn different systems and motions. But when we encounter these new things we have to always remember one thing, and that is staying true to yourself and knowing who you are. Getting lost in this cycle is a common mistake many people do make. Following trends, becoming a sponge to this demanding society, the common downfall of majority of our generation. As a youth I guess it is normal to say that you do the things you do to impress your friends and even gain the appreciation from those you have no connection to. But growing older teaches you valuable lessons on how to remain who you are and understanding what you are growing to become.
It is the idea hidden in many of us that make us believe who we truly are is not good enough for the world that surrounds us. So in result we layer ourselves with an outside image crafted off of the opinions of others and we wear these mask, allowing ourselves to fall in line instead of being a difference in the world, and making a defining impact on a society that needs it.
Knowing yourself, having a clear view on all of your thoughts and emotions. Being confident when presenting your image to the world's population of judges. And lastly staying true to who you are even when the world around you (your peers) seems to being wearing the mask of the society.
In today's society we don't need a group of the same leveled thinkers, we need people who think for themselves, people who are true to themselves, people who are not afraid of the disapproval of the people who use their voice to form opinions and broken truths that's then create a type of domino effect that leads to many following behind the path of these thinkers. New ideas open up the doors for a new vibe and a new feel that this generation so desperately needs.
I am writing this blog to share with my audience how we go through this cycle of life, dealing with our daily encounters and shaping ourselves through these situations. I believe that knowing yourself is the key to gaining success through our lives. We live each day with the common goal of getting through it. I want to shift the belief system, and get people to understand that the obstacles set in place before us are not to keep us from our successes but they are to make us stronger. So allow me to take you on this journey through our everyday encounters.
